The Board of Directors of the Edgewood-Colesburg Community School District met for a special meeting in the Edgewood Board Room, on Wednesday, April 30, 2025. Board President Matt Elliot called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m.

Directors Present: Matt Elliot, Brad Bockenstedt, Jeff Hoeger, Tammy Kirby, & Dan Venteicher.

Also Present: District Administrative Assistant Barb Bolsinger. 

Director Bockenstedt moved to approve the agenda as presented. Director Hoeger seconded the movement. Motion carried 5-0.

No visitors were present

Director Kirby moved to approve the settlement with the Edgewood-Colesburg Teacher Association. Director Bockenstedt seconded the movement. Motion carried 5-0.

Director Hoeger moved to approve the Certified Staff Contracts as presented. Director Bockenstedt seconded the movement. Motion carried 5-0.

Director Kirby moved to approve the ECA Contracts as presented. Director Bockenstedt seconded the movement. Motion carried 5-0.

Director Hoeger moved to approve the hiring of Haley Mostaert as Secondary Science Teacher. Director Bockenstedt seconded the movement. Motion carried 5-0.

Director Bockenstedt moved to approve the resignation of Jennifer Lange as Secondary Math Teacher at the end of this school year. Director Hoeger seconded the movement. Motion carried 5-0.

With no further business to come before the board for consideration at this time, Director Kirby moved to adjourn the meeting at 4:03 p.m. Director Hoeger seconded the movement. Motion Carried 5-0.
