Minutes-2026.03.24 Public Hearing

               The Board of Directors of the Edgewood-Colesburg Community School District met in the Elementary Library, on Tuesday, March 24, 2026 for the purpose of conducting a public hearing on the 2026-2027 Proposed Budget.

Directors Present: Matt Elliot, Tammy Kirby, Jeff Hoeger, Brent Wessel, & Brad Bockenstedt.

Directors Absent: None.

Also present: Superintendent Troy Osterhaus and Board Secretary Melissa Conner.

Visitors: None.

Director Hoeger moved to approve the agenda. Director Bockenstedt seconded the movement. Motion Carried 5-0.

President Elliot declared the public hearing open at 5:30 p.m.

The 2026-2027 Proposed Budget was presented.

President Elliot asked if any written or oral objections have been filed or if anyone has any comments at this time.

Director Kirby moved to close the hearing at 5:43 p.m. Director Bockenstedt seconded the movement. Roll Call Vote: Ayes: Elliot, Kirby, Hoeger, Wessel, & Bockenstedt. Nays: None. Motion Carried 5-0.
